Badis Merdaoui defended his Ph.D. thesis entitled Simulation probabilistique d’acquisition des langues secondes (ALS) on December 20th 2017. The external examiner was professor Guy Lapalme from the University of Montreal. Merdaoui will receive his Ph.D. in cognitive computing from the University of Quebec. He was supervised by professor Richard Hotte and co-supervised by professor Daniel Lemire.
