Xueping Dai defended his Ph.D. thesis entitled Characterization of EM noise in deep mining tunnels and development of denoising method on March 25th 2019. The external examiner was professor Bernard Giroux from INRS. Dai will receive his Ph.D. in environmental science from the University of Quebec. He was supervised by professor Li Zhen Cheng and co-supervised by professors Jean-Claude Mareschal and Daniel Lemire. The chair was professor Fiona Ann Darbyshire.
